"Garden to Do"

• Prune trees BEFORE the snow, wind and ice come. This may help prevent any damage to your house or yard from falling limbs.
• Give the entrance to your home some curb appeal by adding plastic pots filled with evergreen sprigs to make a beautiful display for the holidays.
• Get organized! Make a drawing of your gardens and label the plants that are in the beds. Then make a list of flowers or shrubs you may want to add or remove next spring. If you cannot remember the name - no problem! - just bring a piece of the plant to the garden center and someone will identify it for you.
• Planning a new bed next year? Start now! Our "We plan, YOU plant" program is an easy way to begin. The Garden Center staff will be more than happy to help you. Should you have a larger project, most landscapers have slowed down for the season and are readily available to help bring your visions to reality.
• Get any repair or maintenance done on your gardening equipment while the repair shops are slow - be ready to go when Spring arrives!

Our trees come to us from a local farm right here in Taneytown , Maryland . The trees are cut just days before coming to Simonds. Local trees mean fresher trees.
